Winter Operations Update for February 8, 10 p.m.

Public Works crews are underway with snow removal efforts. Roads are currently slick due to the ongoing snowfall.

6 inches of snow is expected to fall by 6 a.m. Please remember that the roadways in Naperville tomorrow during rush hour will not be clear; they will be slushy and snow covered, and neighborhood streets will have packed snow on them. If you do not need to travel, the City encourages you to stay off the roadways. If you must be out, please exercise extreme caution while driving.

To allow our snow plows to more effectively and efficiently perform snow removal operations throughout this storm, please refrain from parking vehicles on city streets this evening and into tomorrow.

As a reminder, both garbage and recycling collection for Friday, February 9 have been canceled. Those with Friday garbage/recycling collection will have their garbage/recycling picked up on Saturday, February 10. In addition, the Recycling Drop-Off Center at 156 Fort Hill Drive is closed February 9.
