Naperville Public Works Gearing up for 1st Winter Storm

The City of Naperville is suspending leaf collection this afternoon so that crews can prepare trucks for tonight’s forecasted winter storm, which is expected to drop 4 to 8 inches of snow between Friday night and Saturday afternoon.

City crews are converting the vehicles from leaf collection to accommodate deicing and snow plowing. Leaf collection will resume on Monday, November 23 for those residents who have not yet seen pick up in the third collection cycle.
